The Client Goal

Stella’s Fish Cafe & Prestige Oyster Bar is a casual, contemporary seafood restaurant in the Heart of Minneapolis’ Uptown Neighborhood. Stella’s approached Nativ3 with one purpose in mind: they had a wonderful restaurant, but their highest margins and most predictable revenue came from their wonderful banquet spaces. Nativ3 was charged with bringing them new banquet customers, utilizing organic search techniques to do it. The restaurant and banquet scenes in Minneapolis are incredibly competitive. Nativ3 would need to employ cutting-edge content and link building strategies to ensure not only rank increases, but actual customer conversions.

How Nativ3 Blazed the Trail

Nativ3 got underway targeting specific vanity keywords that dealt with every foreseeable future. This meant creating new, relevant content on the site, promoting it on other websites to build domain authority and rapidly begin ranking for organic keywords. Once again, this would be challenging knowing the difficulty of ranking amongst other Minneapolis restaurants. Not only that, but Nativ3 would also need to develop conversion opportunities on the website itself to actually capture that traffic and turn it into real customers. Stella’s has some of the most premier banquet spaces in the Twin Cities. It was high time to drive some new business to it.

The Results

Nativ3 executed a 5-month SEO plan for Stella’s. They already ranked very well for general restaurant keyword searches, but our focus was primarily for party venues and banquet spaces. Nativ3 published 24 targeted articles during that time, built 40 ridiculously-high quality links to the content, acquiring over 1,000 new keyword rankings, garnering 1,200 new organic visits every month, and – get this – getting them 56 NEW banquet room inquiries in 5 months. These inquiries ranged from 15-person birthday parties to 300-person corporate events for the 2018 SUPER BOWL – ALL from our organic marketing efforts.
