Ronald McDonald House

The Client Goal

Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington, DC (RMHCDC), is a non-profit, 501 (C) which eases the hardship of children’s illness on families through programs that directly improve the health and wellbeing of children. RMHCDC keeps families with sick children together and close to the medical care their child needs at leading local hospitals through their three core programs: two Ronald McDonald Houses, three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms, and two Ronald McDonald Care Mobiles. . Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Greater Washington, D.C. needed a scheduling software to help schedule meal deliveries to families in need.

How Nativ3 Blazed the Trail

Nativ3 put together a thorough discovery with RMHCDC and began the process of configuring a custom delivery system on the RMHCDC WordPress website. The system would need to do a multitude of things: allow families login information, give them the ability to schedule best available times for delivery, and integrate that system with RMHCDC’s availability program on the backend. There were a number of moving pieces that needed to be integrated rapidly in order to make sure Ronald McDonald House was accomplishing its critical mission in the DC area.

The Results

Nativ3 built a comprehensive scheduling tool exactly as RMHCDC needed. Don’t take our word for it; they gave us a glowing review: “I worked with Jon and his team at Nativ3 on a project to design a scheduling website for our volunteer program at Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Washington DC. Jon was professional and collaborative throughout the entire process. I couldn’t be happier with the end result. It has already made a huge impact on our ability to meet the needs of volunteers as well as the families we serve.” We developed this web-based application, refined it, and made sure it accomplished everything this crucial organization needed.
